What is GetProofed?
GetProofed is a job-photo record for home projects. You and your contractor keep dated before, during and after photos of every stage, from demo to inside the open walls to the finished room, in one shared record you both have.
Why does a shared, dated photo record matter?
Once drywall, tile, concrete or shingles go on, the work underneath can’t be photographed again. Dated photos taken at the time, that both of you already have, answer “what’s behind that wall?” years later, so it’s never your word against theirs.
Which trades and projects does GetProofed work for?
Remodeling, kitchens and baths, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping and pavers, concrete, decks and fences, flooring, painting and drywall, water damage restoration, and inspections: any home project that happens in stages.
Do I need to download an app?
No. GetProofed works in your phone’s browser on iPhone and Android, and on a computer. Nothing to install.
Does GetProofed work in Spanish?
Yes. GetProofed works in English, Español, Português, Kreyòl Ayisyen, Polski and 中文. Pick a language once and the whole job record follows, for the homeowner and the contractor.
Homeowners
Is GetProofed free for homeowners?
Yes, always. Homeowners get unlimited jobs with no credit card. Your contractor pays for GetProofed Pro; you never do.
My contractor does not use GetProofed. Can I still use it?
Yes. Start a free account, add your project and take dated photos yourself. You can invite your contractor at any time, and the photos you already took stay in the same record.
What should I photograph during a home project?
Every stage before the next one covers it: the space before work starts, demo, framing, the plumbing and wiring inside open walls, waterproofing, each finish, and the completed job.
Can I invite my contractor?
Yes. From your project, send your contractor an invite by text or email. You stay free either way.

How much does GetProofed cost for contractors?
GetProofed Pro is $49 a month with unlimited jobs. A card is required at checkout. There is no free contractor plan. Homeowners you invite are always free. No contracts, cancel anytime.
Does the homeowner have to pay or install anything?
No. Homeowners are free and use GetProofed in their phone’s browser. You invite them by text or email.
How do I invite a homeowner?
Open the job and send an invite by text or email. The homeowner joins the same job record for free.
Can my crew use it in Spanish?
Yes. GetProofed works in English, Español, Português, Kreyòl Ayisyen, Polski and 中文, and each person picks their own language for the same job record.

No. Contractors use GetProofed Pro at $49 a month, and a card is required at checkout. Homeowners are always free.
Can I cancel GetProofed Pro?
Yes. There is no contract. You can cancel anytime from your account.
